So You’re A Bride…

Did I revive my blog because I am recently married and I have SO many thoughts and feelings on what it was like being a bride / if I could do it again (marrying the same exact person all over again), things I’d do differently…? Yes.

Let me start by letting it be known that most people in my family do not have traditional weddings. The concept itself was pretty foreign to me. Originally, I just wanted a simple courthouse wedding where we’d get all dressed up, hire a photographer, and have incredible dinner reservations after. Unfortunately, I ran into my first regret rather quickly - I let other people’s wants for my wedding get in the way. Now here we are, a few thousand dollars and a very stressful 6 months later.

I don’t entirely regret it, to be fair!
